At the present time data storage has become an obligatory factor for providing successful business. Everybody knows that PC may break up as well as grow old even if there`s no reason for it. So far there`s no universal cure from data loss and the best way to protect your files is to backup them. Alcyone Backup is a simple but powerful tool for data backup with eye catching skinned interface. Using this utility one can easily back up and store data periodically. Working process of Alcyone Backup is generally based on profiles and performing jobs. To start working with the program you only need to specify your profile and add jobs to it. As usual you must specify the source and destination folders, select backup method etc. Moreover, Alcyone Backup has various additional features to be used effectively in the backup process. You are able to create rules for each job: specify include and exclude file masks, allow backup subfolders and hidden files and much more. In addition, it is possible to employ built-in presets for backing up different files (Delphi, C++ sources etc.), that may help software developers effectively. Another outstanding feature of Alcyone Backup is scheduler which is built in the program. It lets you run the program automatically on the schedule: daily, weekly or at the program startup. You only need to enter starting time for backup process then Alcyone Backup will take care of your files. Parallel with sufficient functionality Alcyone Backup comes with user friendly and uncomplicated skinned interface, which makes this tool powerful and visually unique simultaneously. Working with Alcyone Backup is understandable for everyone because it is not overloaded with useless additional features and interface improvements
