With ARTEdges, you can quickly and easily apply impressive edges effects, borders, frames to your digital images. The degraded semi-transparent borders will give a professional and stylish look to any photograph. ARTEdges will offer you over 160 various effects that use the specially prepared images, masks. You do not have to be a graphics design professional to be able to use this program. Nevertheless, you will be able to process your photographs quickly while maintaining the professional quality. The program will offer you such handy functions as rotating image by any angle, mirroring, anti-aliasing, (smoothing), changing chromaticity, contrast, light, sharpness, sepia effect, and a number of image filters. Poor images (poorly scanned, noised, saved with low quality level) can be improved with a single click of the mouse. ARTEdges has the built-in red-eye removal function. You can get rid of the obnoxious effect also with literally a couple of mouse clicks. The program supports several dozens of image file formats, including TIFF, JPG, BMP, PSD, PSP, and Kodak Photo-CD. It can acquire images directly from scanner, digital cameras, and other devices. The program`s simplicity and its pleasant appearance will not leave you careless a rush. ARTEdges is designed for Microsoft Windows Me/2000/XP/2003 operating systems. The program runs well under the older versions of the operating system; it just lets the slight distortion in displaying the buttons and icons.
