Map Suite Pocket PC is a powerful and easy to use .NET mapping component that enables C# and VB.NET software developers to generate mapping presentations on portable devices using the .NET Compact Framework 2.0. Map Suite Pocket PC makes it very easy to develop great-looking maps and features a component library that is both sophisticated and user-friendly. By utilizing Map Suite Pocket PC, you will be able to develop full-featured mapping solutions for all of your Window CE devices. Map Suite Pocket PC handles the drawing and provides the tools; the rest is up to you. Unlike legacy COM or “.NET compatible” products, Map Suite Pocket PC is a true .NET mapping component. Being one of the first .NET mapping control providers on the market, ThinkGeo LLC combines both experience and cutting-edge technology to bring powerful mapping components to the .NET development community. Map Suite Pocket PC is based on the idea that developing spatial applications for your portable device shouldn’t be difficult. Map Suite Pocket PC cuts through all the cryptic APIs and confusing terminology, which is normally associated with building spatial and mapping applications. This offers the non-GIS developer the right tools to build first class spatial and mapping applications on portable devices. Finally, to help you get started, Map Suite Pocket PC ships with a large set of sample applications in VB.NET and C#.
