Show Strings is ideal for the developer who wants to check that copyright messages and other text data is present in executables or libraries. It strips out blank space if desired and with drag and drop is easy and convenient to use. The interface is clean and simple, with indications as to your place in the file and the strings can be easily copied to the clipboard for easy comparison. Hyperlinks in the text are visible and they can be used to launch a web browser to view their destinations with ease. Show Strings contains detailed help on how to make full use of the program. The application is free and has no expiration, so you can use it as long and often as you choose. This coupled with its easy installation makes Show Strings the ideal way to analyze binary files for text data.
