File Transfers Protocol (FTP) was developed to transfer data reliably and efficiently between client and server. To provide data privacy, FTP-client must authenticate itself on the FTP-server with a password. Commonly, it’s enough to input this password once into your FTP client software to save it, and every type you establish FTP connection with your FTP server, the password is automatically transmitted to the server to authenticate yourself. Since you don’t have to enter the password on regular basis, you may forget your FTP password. What to do if you lost your password and you need it urgently?
