GLBasic ist eine Programmiersprache zur Spieleprogrammierung. Sie hat einfache Befehle fuer 3D, Netzwerk, Joystick und Medienwiedergabe. Der Compiler erstellt aus dem Quellcode kleine, schnelle, alleinstehende Programme fuer Windows, Pocket PC und Linux. Die benutzen Medien-Resourcen koennen in ein geschuetzes Archiv komprimiert werden mit nur einer Zeile aenderung am Quellcode. Das Paket enthaelt Editor, Compiler, Zeichensatz-Generator, 3D Objektkonverter und weitere Werkzeuge.
