Genie Backup Manager is a very easy to use yet powerful software that can backup and restore files, documents, emails, settings, programs and more to virtually storage location, including hard disks, FTP locations, across network, CD/DVD discs (using Sonic Solutions technology), removable media, and memory sticks. GBM is perfect for users of all computer comfort levels. Novice users will find it easy to create their first backup job in matter of minutes, thanks to an intuitive wizard-driven user interface, while advanced users will appreciate advanced features such as Email notification, Self executable backup sets, scripting, and 128-bit AES encryption Users who cannot afford to shutdown their running applications during backup can also use Open File Manager (OFM), an optional add-on utility, to backup files that are in use (locked) by the system or other applications. Finally, GBM is the only backup software out there that offers free plug-ins.
