emBoot`s boot agents for VMware are client-based `virtual` firmware that allows a VMware client VM to do a `network boot” using the virtual NIC. Our boot agents for VMware are fully compliant with the Intel Wired for Management - Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) specification. PXE is the defacto industry standard protocols/APIs for network booting. By working closely with VMware and key VMware customers, emBoot has overcome limitations with `other` PXE implementations that simply do not work under VMware virtual machines (VM). * PXE Boot Image for VMware - Bootable floppy image functions as a PXE Boot ROM * Fastest way to PXE Boot your VM Guest Operating System! Simply extract the provided .FLP file to your image files directory, point your floppy device to the .FLP and then set your VM to boot from the floppy device. * Ideal for quickly installing guest operating systems using WfM-enabled desktop tools like emBoot NBT
