Networks and the Internet are becoming not only a nice thing to have but are now a necessity and your application need to be able to communicate over them. SSL Socket Wizard allows you to easily communicate to a remote server using the TCP protocol and also adds the ability to use Secure Socket Layer protection to the channel. You can communicate using SSL or normal clear-text. The control is designed in such a way that it really doesn`t take a lot of knowledge about networks or data communications to implement it. The methods are as simple as connect, getdata and senddata. With the inclusion of data arrival events and other status notifications you can easily add network communication in an event driven manner making it highly suitable for almost any application. SSL Socket Wizard now supports SOCKSv4 and SOCKSv5, also known as SOCKS4 and SOCKS5, FireWall Proxies. Some ideas are: communication channels to bank payment processors that stay connected for very long periods of time custom implemented protocols for communication between applications Implementing communication to another companies applications using proprietary protocols. Network device communication Any data connection to web servers, ftp server, smtp or any other server using the TCP protocol for communication The implementation uses are endless and the ROI is signficant since the control is ROYALTY-FREE and may used in any number of projects as long as each developer has a license. This control works with any ActiveX container and even works in ActiveX scriptable languages such as VBScript
