The Palette - Melody Composing Tool is Music Software that helps to compose the melodies. This program is based on the theory of composition and the theory of harmony. The program operates with such concepts as a phrase, sentence, period, motive, methods of motive development: sequence, variation, motive inversion, repetition, extraction, new rhythm etc. All these terms are described in the Theory chapter of the program manual. The chapter describes the basics of the harmony theory and the composition theory. The program knows the logic of functional motion and the voice-leading rules. It allows you easily to create the correct harmonic progressions. The interface of the program keeps an user within the limits of the harmony theory and the composition theory, and it guarantees the worthy result. The program has option that exports the created melody to the *.mid file. The exported file consists of three tracks. The first track contains a melody. The second track contains the chords of a melody. The third track contains the bass part. Any Style Arranger Software has option `Import *.mid` file so you can use the created midi file how the input data for a some Style Arranger Software to create a complete song. The `Export to *.mid` option is disabled in the trial version. .
